Healthiness is a health and wellness blog built around one idea: good health should be simple to understand and realistic to follow. We welcome guest posts from writers, health practitioners and subject-matter experts who can turn reliable information into clear, everyday advice.

Our readers are real people making real choices about their bodies and minds – how to exercise, how to look after themselves during pregnancy, how to feel better about the way they look, which daily habits are worth building. They come to us for guidance they can trust, and every guest post we publish has to live up to that.

Submission Guidelines

These guidelines exist to protect the quality of what our readers receive. Please read them carefully before you submit – articles that do not follow them will be returned without review.

Submission Requirements
1
100% original and unpublished
Your article must be written exclusively for Healthiness and must not appear on any other website, blog or publication. Every submission is checked for plagiarism before review.
2
At least 1,000 words – ideally 1,500 to 2,500
Cover the topic in depth, organise it with clear H2 and H3 subheadings, and write something you would genuinely want to read yourself. Let the topic decide the length.
3
Evidence-based claims with credible sources
Health advice carries responsibility. Statistics, medical statements and factual claims must link to a trustworthy source such as a peer-reviewed study, a recognised health organisation or an official medical body.
4
No promotional or advertorial content
Healthiness is a reader resource, not an advertising space. Articles written mainly to promote a product, service or brand will be declined. For sponsored content, please contact us separately.
5
Send a Google Doc or Word file
Submit an editable document, not a PDF. Include your subheadings, a short author bio with your professional title, and any credentials relevant to the topic.
6
90 days of exclusive rights
Once your article is live on Healthiness, please do not republish it elsewhere for at least 90 days. After that, you may republish it with a canonical link back to the original.

How to Submit Your Health Guest Post

You do not need to pitch first for most topics – you can send a finished article straight away. Here is how the process works from submission to publication.

1
Write Your Article

Follow the guidelines above. Aim for 1,500+ words with clear subheadings, cited sources and a strong introduction. Add your title and credentials to the document.

2
Email Your Submission

Send your Google Doc or Word file to contact@healthinesspro.com with the subject line “Guest Post Submission [Your Topic]”.

3
Editorial Review

An editor reads every submission personally and replies within 1–2 business days: accepted, accepted with revisions, or declined with brief feedback.

4
Publication

Approved articles go live within 3 to 7 business days. We email you the live URL on publication day so you can share it with your audience.

Who Should Write for Healthiness

Our readers act on what they read here, so we look for contributors who genuinely know their subject – not just people who can write around it.

We especially welcome nutritionists and dietitians, personal trainers and fitness coaches, doctors and nurses, midwives, lactation consultants, physiotherapists, psychologists and counsellors, health and wellness coaches, and experienced evidence-based health writers.

Formal qualifications are not essential. Lived experience – of pregnancy and breastfeeding, body image, mental health, fitness journeys or chronic illness – is valuable here too, as long as it is shared with the right context and without clinical claims beyond your knowledge.

ℹ Our Policy on AI-Generated Content

We do not publish articles that are mainly AI-generated. You are welcome to use AI tools for research or editing, but the knowledge, insight and voice in your article must come from a real person who understands the topic. Submissions that read as AI-written without clear human expertise will be declined.

The minimum is 1,000 words, and our preferred range is 1,500 to 2,500 words. In-depth articles that truly help the reader perform better in search and are more likely to be accepted – but usefulness matters more than hitting an exact word count.
We aim to reply to every submission within 1–2 business days. Accepted articles are usually published within 3 to 7 business days of final approval, and we email you the live URL on the day it goes up. If you have not heard from us after 7 business days, a short follow-up is welcome.
Yes. Email a short pitch to contact@healthinesspro.com with your proposed title, a 2–3 sentence summary of your angle and a note about your relevant experience. We will let you know whether to go ahead, usually within 2 to 3 business days.
Yes. We welcome articles on prenatal health, pregnancy nutrition and exercise, birth preparation, breastfeeding, pumping and postpartum recovery. Because this audience is especially vulnerable to bad advice, these articles must be well researched and, wherever possible, written or reviewed by someone with relevant professional experience.
Our editorial team schedules your article for publication and emails you the live URL on the day it goes live. If small revisions are needed first, we will send clear feedback and work with you to finalise the piece.
No. We do not publish articles that are mainly AI-generated. Using AI for research or editing support is fine, but the expertise, insight and voice must come from a real person with genuine knowledge of the topic. Submissions that read as AI-written without clear human expertise will be declined.
